Zomato co-founder, CTO Gunjan Patidar resigns

Gunjan Patidar, co-founder, and CTO of Zomato resigned from the company on Monday, Jan 2, 2023.

 

It, however, Gunjan Patidar did not disclose the reasons for his resignation.

 

Patidar was one of Zomato's first employee and the core technology systems for Zomato were built by Gunjan Patidar.

 

Over the last ten years, he has also developed a stellar tech leadership team capable of taking on the mantle of leading the tech function in the future. "His contribution to the development of Zomato has been invaluable," the company stated in a stock exchange filing.

 

Zomato witnessed some top-level exits last year, including The company's other co-founder, Mohit Gupta, who resigned in November 2022 last year. Rahul Ganjoo was in charge of new initiatives, as was Siddharth Jhawar, the former vice president and head of Intercity, and co-founder Gaurav Gupta.
